Meg has taken numerous painting classes and workshops. After Painting with watercolor for many years; she is now painting with oils.

“The oils give a depth and richness to the paintings” Meg states.

Meg has worked at The Black Dog Gallery and On the Hill Gallery. She has shown and sold art work at The Blue Ridge Studio of Fine Art, The Pop Shop and On the Hill Gallery.

Meg’s studio is in her home on the Virginia east coast surrounded by water and wildlife. Nature has always inspired her. Now she is diving deep into the natural world and painting plein air. She has attended plein air workshops in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Myrtle Beach.

During her many enjoyable walks on the beach over the years, she has found and collected wooden crab basket bottoms washed up on the shore. She now enjoys painting on these found treasures.
